2016 Ignition Interlock Law Changes in Michigan
The State of Michigan recently passed a new law requiring all breath alcohol ignition interlock devices (“BAIID”) systems contain a camera/video system. An excerpt from Senate Bill No. 176, Section 625k1(c) is set forth below:

A BAIID presented to the department for certification may include additional technological features, including, but not limited to, the ability to remotely report information collected by the device.”
